UK AFV Register
The AFV ASSOCIATION was formed in 1964 to support the thoughts and research of all those interested in Armored Fighting Vehicles and related topics, such as AFV drawings. The emphasis has always been on sharing information and communicating with other members of similar interests; e.g. German armor, Japanese AFVs, or whatever.

tankbarrell,
If you have any pictures of your Cromwell and M4A4 you'd like to share (on here or a photo site, etc) I'd be more than happy to link to them.

Tim,

hope you are well, not seen you for a few years. You were very helpful to me regarding access to SPTA all those years ago, couldn't have done the Sherman without you!

There is a good Churchill register here although I'm not sure how up to date it is:

I do have turrets for my Cromwell and I do have an M4A4 that I have restored.

Here are Carls two Rams when still on the range, I have recently completed a lot of work on one in it's return to running.

I think it's time for a "Churchill tanks" PDF file...

Yes indeed. Wink

Massimo

this thread makes obvious the fact that Chris Shillito's "Churchill register" website is seriously out-dated.

http://freespace.virgin.net/chris.shillito/a22new/register/thelot.htm

I'll begin to review the new Churchill tanks PDF list that Rafal sent to us on next Monday.

Thanks again P-O! BTW, the "other vehicle" is a Combat Engineer Tractor. They also appear to have a Titan AVLB
www.flickr.com/photos/...2911980365

Although the apparently new letter-number-letter VRN scheme has me perplexed... Unless its bogus...

FYI, looks like the Castlemartin Gate Guards have been replaced: www.flickr.com/photos/...543801502/

I think the Chieftain came from Pembroke Dock... According to ARRSE, the Conqueror & Centurion are in a tank park awaiting restoration. www.arrse.co.uk/Forums...ml#2138209

BTW, looks like Rob Griffin is active on that board so I'm trying to contact him for his latest info.

Also, here's a few others (in addition to the ones mentioned before) I could use help with.

My Cromwell is here at Bedfield in Suffolk and Carl Browns Rams are at Ludgershall in Buckinghamshire.

Adrian,

do you have, or could you get some recent pictures of Carl Brown's RAMs?
Do you have a turret for your Cromwell now?

thanks

Pierre-Olivier
