Akron, OH Sam Winer Motors updated photos.
The AFV ASSOCIATION was formed in 1964 to support the thoughts and research of all those interested in Armored Fighting Vehicles and related topics, such as AFV drawings. The emphasis has always been on sharing information and communicating with other members of similar interests; e.g. German armor, Japanese AFVs, or whatever.

I went back home to Akron over Memorial Day weekend for my niece's HS graduation. While home I had a chance to go out to Sam Winer Motors. I was just looking to see the M5 and was suprised to find the M4A3E9 and the M32B1 sitting out with them. Here are some updated photos:

M32B1:
Wasn't able to find a SN but a RN of 40165346 was painted on the sides and front.

Thanks for the pics & info!

Let us know if you can get around there again sometime. There may be as many as 46! M4 High Speed Tractors in storage there, and maybe even an M8 High Speed Tractor?

BB-61, I'd like to add these photos to the entries for these vehicles on PreservedTanks.com - let me know if that's a problem. Thanks.
