Some of the comments were funny/sad at the same time. Illustrative of the failure of education. No appreciation of the relationship between electrical current and magnetism. You have to wonder what they think happens when they turn on anything with an electric motor (or conversely, where that electricity comes from when it isn't "stored"). This example simply not use a commutator, hence no changes in polarity that are typical of DC motors in actual practice.

Or, it could just be "magic".

That's the reason I never leave the comments on for any of my videos. No matter what type of video you upload someone invariably has to post a comment that is as vile as possible.
