Post subject: June 4th Sunday flight

The more we approach to the inner part of Australia, the harder it seems to find navigational aids: the only help provided to pilots is a bunch of intersections gathered around the airfields... it's like if they say "if you spot the place, we'll give you a hand, but don't ask us to venture out of there".

I would like to join in on your Sunday June 4th flight. Is there somewhere I can find out the information concerning the IP and PW needed and any other instruction on how all of this works? Also, what time zone is the 1 pm beginning of the flight in? I am in the US in CDST. I have the Spartan Executive and the VOZ scenery 1.1 and 1.2 downloaded and am on cable but have never done any multiplayer flying before.
Thanks,
Lazyeight

Hiya lazyeight! We'll be glad to have you along... Wink

The flight take off time is 1pm CST US and we usually meet up on Com Central TeamSpeak 1/2 hour prior or 12:30 PM CST to sort out any issues and just to generally get ready.

Hi lazyeight,

Welcome to the crew. I hope you enjoy our flights on Sunday. As far as I know we will fly the floating plane, you never know what will happen in the red desert in Australia. Laughing Laughing Laughing
The Spartan was just a little typo from our friend Rodion. You will get used to that too

I hope everything will work for you, TS included. See you tonight....

Yeah, Leo, you're right.
Mr. Green
At first I thought the Spartan would have been a nice choice and wrote the nav-log accordingly; then I saw the announce of the official release of the float Beech, and as the two have almost the same cruise speed I changed my mind but not the nav-log, which I had already uploaded.

By the way, welcome on board, lazyeight!

Marco

P.S.: you'll find the same "plane mismatch" in the next nav-log: you're warned Razz

I just downloaded and installed the new up dated 66 versions of the D18S and none of them work for me. My screen goes black and the crashes on each of them. The original ones still work.

You do realise that the 68 repaint textures are for the amphibious version and not the original D18.

The repaints go in the amphibious version folder and not the original D18 folder...

This is as I understand it...Haven't installed it yet

You're spot on Kit !

As stated in the READ ME FIRST you MUST have installed the Beechcraft D18S Amphibian (d18samv2.zip) to be able to use the expansion pack.

Also make darned shure that you have deleted any previous versions as was mentioned by Milton earlier on.

Sorry bout that, but that's how it is.

p.s. lazyeight, if you have TS up and running maybe I can talk you through it so the files will work.

just for informational purposes,

The D18S Amphibian (d18samv2.zip) is in Miltons Hangar.
The repaints pack is in the Milton's Hangar CC Subfolder in Milton's Hangar (ComC_D18SAM_coll_v6.06.zip)
