Back to our beloved Howard, we head towards Indonesia, going to land at an airfield with a name suggesting oriental legends and scary events. Indonesia is the country with the largest muslim community in the world (related to population), so let's be respectful and wear decent clothes!

Post subject: Re: January 21st Sunday flight

Friends,
My flying is not as bad as it may appear. After much adjusting, removing and reinstalling, and changing settings I think my problem may be solved. Some time ago I noticed when I would sit still on the runway, my plane would creep forward. Pushing F1 would stop this. When I was landing Sunday my plane ran off the end of the runway. My throttle was in the closed position but the plane would not slow down. I fly with the Saitek X52 throttle and joystick. After checking things out I found that the throttle would not close and the RPM's stayed up when I pulled the throttle into the closed position. Looking at the throttle knob on the panel I could see that F1 would pull it out farther even with the Saitek throttle closed.
At last, it seems to be corrected and I think I have throttle control once more. I will keep flying and checking it out today, but I just wanted to offer a reason for the bad flying I did last Sunday.
I enjoy these Sunday flights and hope you guys will keep up the good work in planning these trips.

Lazyeight,

if you think you need to justify something you are judging as a bad performance, I'm better to retire before being banned as the shame of the flight sim community.
Mr. Green
Believe me, when I crash on landings, that's not because of my joystick: it works well.

Hope you'll join us next Sunday!

My dear friend,

You should have seen me when I started out in cfs1, one explosion was bigger and brigther than the other Laughing

So absolute no reason for apologies or whatsoever.

We are here to have fun with eachother and maybe learn something along the way, but at the end it's for our mutual enjoyment and having a funtime among friends.
