Post subject: July 29th Sunday flight

At this stage it was mandatory a little detour, to pay a visit to the land of tea, and if I were you I'd make room - eventually dropping out some passengers - to store some crates of the perfumed leaves. By the way, here's again the controversial question that splits the world: lemon or milk? Mr. Green

Ciao Marco Smile

What a challenge, we have to use the map instead of the flightplan, otherwise we will be lost in another country :-))

Ehhhhhmmzz........did we ????

By the way Jerry, it took a long time for you to change the IP for the CC FS9 server during Fled's serverproblems. After you changed it, Fleds server is working again Wink Time to check the site from time to time Mr. Green

Done! Take it again now.
Mr. Green
By the way - now I see I wrongly packaged a flight plan I still don't know why I still keet it: a terrific experience of an impossible landing at Lukla... well, ok, impossible for me, and in fact I found hard to stop at destination even in slew mode!
Shocked

Well, it started ut as a great flight for me, unfortunately my Howard 500 was shot down by a bolt of lightning!

Which is why I dropped off the radar and voice comms all in one fell swoop. Big ol' "CRACK!!!" outside, everything in the house went dark and silent. Just now got the internet connection back up again.

Still boomin' outside so I better run - here's the pix I took while I could and thanks!

Wanna hear something funny? We have two TV's in the house now that got "gaussed" by a nearby lightning strike right outside.....the magnetic field from the bolt of lightning seems to have re-arranged the red, green and blue phosphor in the picture tube...everything went purple and green when the strike occured!

One TV recovered by cycling the power, it has a degauss circuit built in when it powers on.....the other doesn't. Both are on the same side of the house....so now the wifey and I gotta watch green and purple people on the TV in our bedroom!

Whatta storm....fortunately, and most importantly, all computer equipment survived A-OK!! Laughing

Shocked

Glad to hear all is allright, lightning strikes can be quite "annoying" to say the least.
