Post subject: "The War"

Over the last week I have watched the Ken Burns film titled "The War". Burns takes us on a comprehensive look into what being involved in a World War was like for both the soldier as well as the civilian.

The story of four American communities and their contributions to the war effort, and their sacrifices, make you realize the scope of the conflict and its effect on the entire country.

Anyone who watches this documentary should come away with a better sense of what being involved in a world war really means. World War 2 was the single greatest event in world history and Burns illustrates that graphically. A very powerful film that I highly recommend!!!!!!!!
