Post subject: October 1st Sunday flight

Though a particularly short one, this flight will be also challenging: our destination, the snow covered Mount Cook, needs a careful approach and will put under a hard test your landing skills - I say yours, as mine are out of discussion Mr. Green

Hey guys, I don't know if it'd be possible, but could you guys put something in the download section that has ALL of the flights so far? It'd be kind of cool to see the whole route on goolge earth, but I'm too lazy to download all of them myself Smile

Hi XcalibeR!

Something close to what you ask I think it already exists, though not yet hosted here. I arranged a page on my own web-site with the whole collection, and recently I splitted it in two pages, one for the 2004-2005 season, and one for the present year.

You can visit it here:
-> www.webalice.it/marco....ights.html

Scrolling down the 2004-2005 page, you'll find Google Earth screenshots of all the flights taken during that time, and at the very end there's a link to a small zip including all of them in just 1 flight plan and 1 kml file.

Hope this will match your request, at least partially.

Marco

Though I was aware this would have been a troublesome landing for me, I couldn't do the less of choosing Mount Cook as a mandatory stop in our NZ tour, 'cause the beauty of the surroundings really deserves to be explored.
If you didn't felt yet like spending some time there around, here are some screenshots I took this morning to incite you.

For better results, set time one hour after dawn - or before dusk, climb at 10000 feet, and loiter around Mount Cook's peak, just to discover that beyond that you have in sight the sea Shocked

The plane is Premaircraft's Turbo Beaver - a must have Cool

Marco - following the flight I too took a tour of Mount Cook, and all the better in my BF-109 Wild Sau Style! What an awesome flight. Great trip, thanks for having me this weekend!

Thank you for your compliments, Sweets. Smile

Hunt, you'll be more than welcome every time you want to join us, and if you took pics of Mount Cook on board of the Bf-109, it would be great if you show them to us Cool
