Saumur
The AFV ASSOCIATION was formed in 1964 to support the thoughts and research of all those interested in Armored Fighting Vehicles and related topics, such as AFV drawings. The emphasis has always been on sharing information and communicating with other members of similar interests; e.g. German armor, Japanese AFVs, or whatever.

The chin arrived very late, not all ausf G have it

Massimo

A Massimo said, the chin was a fairly late modification and even when fielded the old style mantlet continued to be fitted from available stocks.

None that I am aware of. Indeed I would love to see even some vintage pictures of them. P-O, can you help?

Massimo

Are there any Panthers in their post-war French markings?

No chin? Like I said, I am no expert by any means on panzers, just going by what I read.

I am no expert on panzers, but is that a Ausf G chassis with an Ausf A turret?

they are being restored, but quite slowly. The problem is that the new paint is quickly faded and rusted. The AMX-75 and AMX-90 were repainted maybe 3 or 4 years ago.

Yikes, some of those AMX 13s could use a quick coat of paint like they did at Knox.
