Locust hull
The AFV ASSOCIATION was formed in 1964 to support the thoughts and research of all those interested in Armored Fighting Vehicles and related topics, such as AFV drawings. The emphasis has always been on sharing information and communicating with other members of similar interests; e.g. German armor, Japanese AFVs, or whatever.

I was looking at the artillery for sale classifieds on the Milweb site and there is an advert for some Maxon turet parts. However, if you enlarge the picture there seems to be the hull of a Locust tank behind it. There can't be too many of those around any more!

Could be, or it is maybe one of the Wheatcroft's?

I'll ask Ian Hughes, the seller of the 2 Maxton turrets, to know who owns this vehicle.

Here is the reply from Ian Hughes :

"The M22 Locust is mine and I brought it from a private collector in Michigan (USA ) about 2 years ago, he got it in 2003 from a museum
"some where in eastern USA ",

I was planning on keeping it and restoring it myself but im now buying another yard with some workshops so its probably for sale".
