Stug III hulls
The AFV ASSOCIATION was formed in 1964 to support the thoughts and research of all those interested in Armored Fighting Vehicles and related topics, such as AFV drawings. The emphasis has always been on sharing information and communicating with other members of similar interests; e.g. German armor, Japanese AFVs, or whatever.

Hi Jim,

if you check out the following site then you will know some of the differences

Basicly, StuG III ausf E & F where the same, ausf G was modified

www.historyofwar.org/a...usf_E.html

www.historyofwar.org/a...usf_F.html

www.historyofwar.org/a...usf_G.html

I have a book that also covers the StuG III, problem (for some of the readers) is German language only

title :is: Sturmgesch├╝tze - Entwicklung an fertigung der sPak
writer: Walter J Spielberger
publisher: Motor Buch Verlag

I think it is an reprint of : Sturmgeschutz & Its Variants
that is from the same writer

Michel

nice find !!

such a shame that the other parts existing in some musuems or collections (upper hull, main gun) can't be gathered to get a complete vehicle..

For my books I often concentrate on the differences between models as I frequently need to identify preserved vehicles. This is what I have for the StuG:
