Post subject: Sunday 21st October Bush Flight

Here we are, we completed our New Zealand North Island tour and are ready to go on. Australia, here we come!

As usual, we want to make these flights as Bush Flights, so our intention is not to cover much distance per flight or finish this as fast as we can. We

rather want to fly low and slow (well, reasonably slow), enjoy the scenery and find out out how Austalia looks like from above.

To enjoy this most, the Australia package from FTX is highly recommended, and you will find this here :

www.fullterrain.com/

You can make these flights without the above package!

There are a lot of FTX freeware airports for Australia, namely YMLT - Launceston (we visited that airport already), YLIL - Lilydale, YRED - Redcliff,
YMUI - Murray Island, YBLN - Busselton, YCUN - Cunderdin and YPLC - Port Lincoln. I suggest you download them all. I'm not sure yet but I think we will visit them all and they are FREE!

For us Bushfliers, OZx produced more than 300 smaller airfields all over Australia. We will visit some of them, so downloading and installing them would be rather helpful, and again, they are FREE!

aussiex.org/forum/inde...libraries/

To be able to select these fields within FSX, download these files:

aussiex.org/forum/inde...le-in-fsx/

Even more fields are available here:

www.antsairplanes.com/scenery.html

We might visit one of those and they are nicely made so I recommend to download and install them as well.

Now we are well prepared to start our tour. Attached is the flightplan for our first trip, that starts at YLIL!

See you Sunday!

Here I am, scrambling to post my pics before bedtime. Monday comes so fast. Here's the pics from today's flight. ( . . . and some I took afterwards).
Good flight. Thanks Gunter.

Great shots and great flight plan. Sorry that my Sunday afternoons have become too busy for me to join you. I am missing these flights and hope to soon be back on schedule. I am still flying the flight plans during the week. Thanks, Gunter, for providing these.

Sorry I wasn't there this week. My wife and I went southwest to Western Kansas for a craft show that my wife was a dealer in. With the wind in the area, I'm glad I wasn't flying. The dust blew up so bad, it was like driving in a fog going down. I should be back this coming weekend. I have an event on Saturday, but Sunday is free.
