Schaffahusen. Museum im Zeughaus (CH)
The AFV ASSOCIATION was formed in 1964 to support the thoughts and research of all those interested in Armored Fighting Vehicles and related topics, such as AFV drawings. The emphasis has always been on sharing information and communicating with other members of similar interests; e.g. German armor, Japanese AFVs, or whatever.

Hi Massimo, thanks for sharing these interesting pics,
a question for you, the bridge posed in the background of the M113 is from a Centurion Bridgelayer?

... no, this bridge belongs to a Swiss Br├╝ckenpanzer 68 (Chassis from a Panzer 68). They Swiss only trialled the Centurion Bridgelayer, never bought them...

Thanks for the info and the extra pics, very interesting vehicle.
The launching device was unique for his period, the horizontal launching cycle was less conspicous compared of those used by Centurion/Chieftain, M48/M60 and soviet MT55. The launching operation was slightly detectable as was the Biber Leopard...
