No more than just one flight is needed to get an overall impression of Taiwan - well, I lenghtened it a bit, so that maybe it seems a rather vicious circle, but I think it will be interesting and not at all monotonous.

That was a great flight to Taiwan, and I look forward to the next flight to Clark Intl. in the Philippines. I actually lived there for a couple years, so it will almost be like going back in time for me. I took a few piccies of todays flight before FS9 quit working.

Just after takeoff looking back.

Was Great! Sorry about the comms problems. I think I have them sorted now. I still had TS set up with my squad keymapping from WWIIOL, which was probably driving the TS server crazy (which would explain why it shut me off, LOL)

Hope to see you all again next week.

S!

I apologize for the misleading flight level of 6000 feet - it looked strange to me that the FS9 nav-log was telling me 3000, so I increased it a bit, but didn't imagined those peaks were so high. Anyway, climbing and dropping in the face of unforeseen high mountain chains added something to the fun, and allowed me to plunge on destination in my usual way Mr. Green

Glad you got fun, Randy, and if your TS troubles have been solved, it will be surely better next time. Cool

Yep, Wingnut, we're going to Clark Base next flight, and with the Super Connie - I'm happy this is, coincidentally, something of particular interest to you Smile

A couple of pics of mine - taken to spot details of the landascape below:
