Post subject: Eskorte Suggestion

Gentlemen,

Our JG300 Ops officer has alerted us to the location you are nearing on your Sunday flights. As of this last Sunday flight we note that you are dangerously close to Guadalcanal and Beagounville island. While the potential Opfor in that area were once allies of JG300, let us be honest and admit that they were only allies of convenience. That was some time ago and we can't be very sure of any current intentions they may harbor today.

Based on the current tactical position and strategic trends we see, we have discussed this and feel we would be remiss if we did not offer, as we have in the past, our capabilities to serve in an escort role in the upcoming Sunday flight this weekend. As you recall, this was performed in a seamless manner to integrate our protective force of Bf-109's along with your transport-type aircraft. Due to our strong allegiance to Com-Central and our inherent interest in maintaining the health of it's owners and administrative staff, we would like to suggest, and offer, our services in the upcoming flight. That is, if the proposed flight plan range and airspeeds are in line with our aircraft of choice.

Charlie's possibly out there, somewhere, and it seems best to err on the side of caution by having a few nose-mounted Mk108 30MM and MG-15's along. Correspondingly, we are prepared to have a small escort flight in position at the departing airport and warmed up by take-off time if you find this agreeable.

Thank ya Sir!

Being as our Bf109's are a bit pokey compared to that fine F-86, those of us who show will fly the jet along with ya's....we'll save the Bf109 escort for another prop flight.....Danke!

Ya know, we do have the Mig-15 on the download site. That would make an interesting escort for the F-86s. Two old adversarys getting together for a little flight together.

Would it be welcome? Not all would have it.....but they should just see an F-86 instead.

I know I'll have it. Every one can get it just like getting your BF-109 for the last time you all escorted us.

If you haven't flown the Mig15 or F86 Sabre, you're missing some great aircraft.

Hmm......well, the Mig-15 has a GPS but no autopilot.....kind of a bummer.

Tell ya what, may make better sense to fly the F-86 for this flight. We can wait until y'all go back to a prop plane to use our good ol' Bf109's.

Oh, sure...it's easy for you Amerikaner pilots to laugh and grin when you have autopilots, cockpit heaters, and relief tubes installed.

talk about depressing...looks like ever joining another CC sunday flight for me is never gonna happen....I have tried everything except hucking my puter out the window. For some reason when I try to join the server it says not all players were able to join. I had this problem for long time now and even let Fled take control of my system to see if he could figure it out without any luck........all the ports are enabled on my router,,...I dont know what the hell to do......
I so thought after my full FS9 un-install it may fix issue but no such luck.....I am at the point of a breakdown here....if anyone thinks they could fix it I would let them take control of my puter again.....its either that or the .....out the window idea..
Crying or Very sad

Hoppa, I had that same trouble last weekend and after looking high and low through all my firewall settings and router configs, just powering down my cable modem and router for about 5 minutes, then firing everything back up, fixed it for me. It's like if the router sees something it don't like on one of those ports, it pukes on it and ya gotta smack it in the head. Was exactly the same problem, the annoying "Not all players were able to connect".....hate that!

Stoopy,

you'll get the opportunity to fly the 109 since the next flight, as we will turn back to the Howard.

Though, in order to allow us to see you in full feathers, it would make sense if you could point us to which is the model you're going to use, so that we can install it Wink
