Life is short. Live and let live. Don't stress. stop and smell the roses.
Live life to the gusto. You can't have to much fun. Improvise, adapt and overcome. Chill out. And a group hug is nice
Cheers guys. Wink

I love that version, Battlehawk.... Laughing

Well, since this is winding down and I've been gone all day, all I can say on the last message regarding rewards etc is, we're not a big site.....

We Be Po'

And maybe we could work up a way to give out candy or pretzels via Ethernet communications over the internet, for submitting great pix, but the truth is this works off the simple "contributor-participant" concept and the simplicity and beauty is right there.

If a pic is seen as lacking in comparison to other pix in terms of comments, I don't take it as a slight when it happens to me. I don't expect accolades or anyone to have the same opinion as me.

Hunt got a lot of this right in his last post IMHO with a very efficient use of words, and I agree!

Per the title of the thread, if "Something is Wrong" it would have been a great opportunity to really nail down whatever that thing is and fix it. Maybe next time....or maybe since it couldn't really be defined, not much is wrong to begin with?

All I know is that since this started I have learned a LOT about how to take better screenies and use some tools like FS Recorder to expand my own range of possibilities. To me, that makes it worth it, and the fact that it occurs here at my favorite place in the (internet) world with people I respect is also icing on the cake.

I'll follow up with efforts to increase the voting (submissions are doing quite well for now, thanks for everyone's particpation!) and that's all I really see identified as an issue to take away from here when all is said and done, unless I missed something.

Thanks!

Stoop

Since I have never posted a screenie or voted on one I feel I am infinatily qualified to post my thoughts...lol...actually gents...when flying, some times what happens is what I call a "EURO MOMENT" This is a very rare occurance. In the middle of a dogfight Or just a flight you see something that just takes your breath away. I could be a flaming zero landing with one gear left....or the sun reflecting off a Lear as it goes down over the alaskan mountain range. For those who are lucky enough to get that moment caught with a screenshot....well it is pretty well priceless. I would suggest that all who post are winners because of the fact that they actually lived in that moment...the fun is in the journey, not in the percieved worth of the final product...... JMHO......Rigel
