Post subject: March 11th Sunday flight

After each sunset naturally follows a sunrise: what happened in the meanwhile is that, with the help of the cloak of darkness, the Aero Commander that took us company for the last weeks has been stored into the hangar, and the gorgeous silhouette of the Connie made its appearance on the tarmac. Ready for another change of country? We're going to Cambodia!

Leeeeeeeeo!
Mr. Green
You are partially right.
Our link on CC to the original model by FSDezign looks broken, but you can get it here:
-> library.avsim.net/esea...DLID=53611

Instead, Fled's EZ package to get up to 19 different liveries, 34,6 Mb, is regularly available here:
-> www.com-central.net/in...amp;id=125

Hope this helps.

It's sure been a while since we have flown this bus... Really nice flying kite.
Dont forget to pay attention to your fuel mixture or you will be "gliding" in literally.

You might want to SAVE the flight before the last waypoint.

Don't forget the Daylight Savings Time change came early this year, for those in the U.S. So, since I believe the flight took place about 2:00 PM Eastern Time previously, means it starts at 3:00 PM now......only for those of us on U. S. Eastern time of course.

Correct?

Yeah, can someone assist in the time conversion for me, lol. I didn't shift time here I don't think, so have no idea what time it is today.

By the way, another great add on airport at out destination over at www.avsim.com. Again, someone please show me how to get the file paths - but search for CAMBODIA in FS2004 SECENERY and VDPP shows up as one of 3 files. Small download and looks great!

Hey, it has been fun from beginning to end this time - a take off in the dark, then almost all the flight trying to get stuck side by side with Leo, then a ridiculous attempt at gliding on the runway with engines shut down... and gear up...
Laughing

Here some pics I took while flying a veeeery close formation with Dutchman: consider that the second one has been shot by his side, not mine. Also, it was just by chance we wore the same livery. It was a bit like dancing.

Sorry I couldn't make the flight today, I still have some problems with the computer as was noted the last time I joined in. I have a computer case with a new power supply on order and shoud be getting it with in the next week. I will be getting things working soon, and will rejoin when everything is up and running again. I received a call from Bushy, but was out and about when it came in and wasn't able to pass on that he wasn't able to join in as well. Sorry about that Jerry. I was out doing some much needed things with the room mate, and wasn't even home when everyone flew today.

NP Wingy and thanks for mentioning it... Smile

I was at a weekend long conference and thought I would be back for the flight. It didn't quite work out that way though. Shocked lol

I have these for the next few weeks too, but hopefully it'll go better than it did this weekend..

Martin, I'll send you a PM with the information you need. Wink
