US Model 1917 monument
The AFV ASSOCIATION was formed in 1964 to support the thoughts and research of all those interested in Armored Fighting Vehicles and related topics, such as AFV drawings. The emphasis has always been on sharing information and communicating with other members of similar interests; e.g. German armor, Japanese AFVs, or whatever.

Greetings,
I spend lots of time (and computer space!) shooting pics of tank-monuments. On my way back from the Military Vehicle Preservation Association's 2007 convention, I stopped in Bloomington, Illinois USA, to photograph the US Model 1917 tank that is displayed in Miller Park. I thought folks would enjoy seeing a pic of this little rare guy.

Hello John,

I'm really interested in getting your agreement to use your picture in the following document :

http://the.shadock.free.fr/Surviving_6ton_M1917.pdf

That's the list of the still existing 6-ton M-1917 tanks, with a photo of each vehicle. I'm trying to get the most recent available pictures each time I can, and I would update this document with your photo. Of course you'll be credited as the author of the photo. Is it all right for you?

Pierre-Olivier
