The New Jersey Division of Fish and Wildlife describes squirrel as "good table fare," offering recipes for squirrel chowder, stew and barbecue.

Go figure.....the one state in the nation that has glow-in-the-dark squirrels also says they're completely safe.....ahh well, slow-smoke 'em over mesquite wood and serve'em up with some jalepeno beans and corn on the cob and ya got yourself a meal full o'nutrients, minerals, and valuable petrochemical distillates!
