The correct R/N for the M4A3(75)W is 3081644.

Hi Folks!

While looking at the front upper slope on the M5 Stuart last Monday, I noticed "SERIAL NO 739" stamped into the armor a bit below and to the left some from the right lifting ring.

S/N 739 would have been an M5, and that is clearly an M5A1. It looks like it has an M5 hull with the last modifications though. If you get a chance, check on the left side of the upper hull for a Cadillac build number, should be H739. Also check the belly to see if there is an escape hatch behind the BOG. This would be a good one to check for a data/overhaul plate inside.

The M4A3(75) should have A433 stamped in the the front left side of the hull, similar to the M36.

Checked both hulls sides today. Sorry no sign of any numbers. Doesn't look like a case of to many layers of paint.

Belly: NO escape hatch down there. That would make this one a M5 with A1 up grades?
Haven't had a chance to get inside yet.

The M4A3(75) should have A433 stamped in the the front left side of the hull, similar to the M36.

It has A154 on the left front side. Nothing on the right side.

There is a M74 here that I may not of reported. It has 465 on it's right side.
