Panzer in Karelia (Finland Russia)
The AFV ASSOCIATION was formed in 1964 to support the thoughts and research of all those interested in Armored Fighting Vehicles and related topics, such as AFV drawings. The emphasis has always been on sharing information and communicating with other members of similar interests; e.g. German armor, Japanese AFVs, or whatever.

There is an ongoing project trying to find and identify the fallen from both sides, mostly Norwegian Waffen SS volunteers and Russian skisoldiers.

New photos were posted yesterday, apparently they found a German tank in the woods!

Military archeology

Appears to be a panzer I or II?

It is apparently in a private collection near Moscow.

Being in the vicinity of all that 60+ year-old unexploded ordnance would give me the willies!
