M109 Ft. Hood, 1st Cav
The AFV ASSOCIATION was formed in 1964 to support the thoughts and research of all those interested in Armored Fighting Vehicles and related topics, such as AFV drawings. The emphasis has always been on sharing information and communicating with other members of similar interests; e.g. German armor, Japanese AFVs, or whatever.

Does anyone know what version of M109 is on display at the 1st Cav Division Museum at Ft. Hood?

And, anyone have any idea what condition it is in?

Thanks,
David Doyle

Here are two photos of the M109A3 at Ft Hood.

The first is from November 2009.

The second is from March 2009 - in the pouring rain!!
