Sofia. National museum of military history
The AFV ASSOCIATION was formed in 1964 to support the thoughts and research of all those interested in Armored Fighting Vehicles and related topics, such as AFV drawings. The emphasis has always been on sharing information and communicating with other members of similar interests; e.g. German armor, Japanese AFVs, or whatever.

5 barrels & looks quite small calibre, certainly not 1" calibre. I'd go for the Mk II 5-barrel Nordenfelt, myself. .45" calibre. Looks like a 4-barrel, 1" version next to it.

I think the machine gun thingy is a 5-barrel 0.45" Nordenfelt machine gun from the 1880s - the action is that it fired a volley of rounds rather than continuous fire. Much more on these guns at www.victorianshipmodels.com/. Regards, Charlie _________________ landships.info

It's a Russian gun, modified by the Germans for anti-aircraft use. There is another one in Bucharest, you may remember that one: 76.2 mm Krupp-Putilov by Massimo Foti, on Flickr
