Post subject: November 15th Sunday flight

The former idea was a short hop to Sarajevo, which is a place concentrating in itself history and monuments; later, checking the maps, I discovered Podgorjca was on the way, and it didn't take much to find Mostar. So, what was planned as a quick trip, is now a full fledged flight, run almost completely above the mountains.

Hi all!

Nice flight plan, starting only 140 km from my hometown Niš in Serbia.

I felt a need to provide a bit more info about this area.

Priština is international airport with frequent arrivals and departures now.

I know it's a "game" but, maybe we should play it by the rules.

SID and STAR for most LYxx airports as well as LO and HI Enroute charts can be found here:
www.scgvacc.net/?go=downloads

LYPR Airport info is here:
www.airportpristina.co.../id/c2/s9/

Sarajevo has very nice approach if winds allow it, if not...good luck! Smile
Happy flying and welcome to Balkan Virtual Airspace.

Hi Zedes,

a pity you didn't let us know before: I could have planned the previous flight so to land at Nis instead of Pristina. But we can still arrange a detour, if it's good enough to tempt you to join us.

Next scheduled stop was in Beograd, and the following one somewhere in Rumania; as an alternative, I could draft a flight to Nis, go on with the Rumanian tour, and on the way back return to Beograd.
