Post subject: November 26th Sunday flight

Intelligence reports that our next flight might not be as safe as we usually expect: this bring us to ask the escort of the JG300 knights for our hop to Brisbane. Yes, we're back to Australia eventually, and we're once again with the Sabre that behaved so well in our past experiences. So get ready, and be confident we'll have somebody to watch at our six Wink

I thought I'd post the one photo I took today during the flight. JG-300 Hunt is in the reticle, but forunately the guns were not armed. I was just using him as a little practice for the proper lineup.

Yeah I second Rodion's question, where is Fled? The man is sorely missed....not that I make a lot of these flights but it's always good to hear his voice guiding us along.

Grabbed a few pics myself, here's some of the better ones....

Stoopy, great pics man! And he's right, offered myself up for the good of the group - knew the boss had my six covered! Great shot though Wingy!

That one that had to slip it in looks very familiar to my landing, had to pull in some flaps and sink her down, came in a bit slow I think, fearful of my too fast approach last week. Although I feel a lot better the more practice in the 86 we get. Looking forward to the props next week. This will be my first experience with VOZ really.

Was great to see a good JG300 turnout this week!

I was just practicing, and I knew you were back there. I just wanted to get a picture of that classic position of attack. I was hoping you got a couple shots when we were in formation. I liked that. My graffic card doesn't refresh quick enough right now, so when I'm flying that fast, I have no decent textures. If you look at that shot I took, Hunt is solid gray. Thanks for the great shots. I might add, when I did that landing, I couldn't see the runway. I had no idea I was on it. After I landed and the graffics caught up, then I could see where I was. I landed using the ILS system, so I kind of figured I was close.

Was my first Sunday flight and I had a good time. Wanted to thank the regulars for the patience and help. Know I wasn't on my radio calls like I should have been but instead of target fixation I was dealing with Auto Pilot fixation Laughing was my first time in the Sabre and I was trying to learn as I was flying.

Still not sure why the airport didn't show for me. Thanks to Stoopy for letting me follow him in, talk about trust in your superiors! I followed him in even though all I could see were trees and houses where we were landing. Laughing

Thanks again guys and I plan on joining in more often.
