Post subject: January 28th Sunday flight

Don't be scared by the name of the airfields, we are going to visit some very nice places in Indonesia, amongst which Bali Island and Surabaya, and if I'm not wrong there it should be the right time to wear bath costumes... anybody get news of sharks in those premises?

--- A reminder: as tested extensively during the last weeks, the FSHost server allows us to join the session both with FS9 and FSX without any troubles. So consider that now we have two sims available at the same time... frame rate permitting, of course!

Great Pics. I wish I could have flown with you Sunday, but I was having some problems with Norton. I took Fleds advice, and replaced it with NOD32. Before I replaced it, I tried to uninstall it, and that only caused more problems. Lots of popups that wouldn't go away. I called the folks that make Norton, and they have a free download the completely removes anything made by them. I ran it and it got rid of the problems. I also made an investment that became necessary today. I had to replace my failing joy stick, and I went out and bought a new one. My old stick started the same thing the last one I had did, and that was all of a sudden, the left aileron would go in full up, and the plane would roll over or bank left. If it was a fighter, it would go completely upside down, and that was getting annoying. I bought a new Saitek X52, and I like it. The stick responds lightly, and easily conpaired to the old X45. I did some Helicopter flying tonight, and it was a lot easier to fly and maintain a hover than the old one. The center spring in the X45 was stiff, and the centering piece rubbed against rubber, so it tended to be a lot harder to crank the stick to the side to bank or maintain a light touch for hovering. This one is plastic against plastic so the action is smoother and lighter. Now, I need that power supply to make it complete.
