Tanks for Beginners
The AFV ASSOCIATION was formed in 1964 to support the thoughts and research of all those interested in Armored Fighting Vehicles and related topics, such as AFV drawings. The emphasis has always been on sharing information and communicating with other members of similar interests; e.g. German armor, Japanese AFVs, or whatever.

Struck me as a godd video for someone fairly ignorant as to what tanks can do... it even features a neutral turn.

Them White Wall Tires on the artillery is COOL!!

An interesting mix of tanks. Was the KV-1 at about 4:16 into the vid (The 1957 parade I think) It only showed shot of the commander in the turret hatch but looking at what showed of the turret I think it was a KV. A good collection of ex-Japanese tanks in the early years

Yeah thats it Bob - I first decided that it was a T-34/76 but after a couple of rewinds decided it was a KV-1.

Cool
