Sherman have moved
The AFV ASSOCIATION was formed in 1964 to support the thoughts and research of all those interested in Armored Fighting Vehicles and related topics, such as AFV drawings. The emphasis has always been on sharing information and communicating with other members of similar interests; e.g. German armor, Japanese AFVs, or whatever.

Post subject: Sherman have moved

Danish Army Sherman M4A3E4 serial no. 56892 have been aquired from the Army Combat School in Oksbøl by a German collector, allegedly in a swap with another vehicle.

I think it might be one of two offered on MilWeb (http://www.milweb.net/index2.html)

The vehicle is a former range vehicle, but has not been fired at, "only" used for molotow-cocktail parties. It has engine and transmission and most of the interior is there, though of course damaged by fire and general decay. Tracks and engine hatches are missing as are other parts.

I wonder if anyone knows more about the vehicle and would be willing to venture a guess as to how much it might be worth?
