Post subject: Frozen Lakes and Rivers

It's November, and the inland lakes and rivers are frozen solid enough to support light aircraft. As the winter progresses we'll be able to land safely with heavier planes, but for now expect some missions with the Maule and Tripacer.

To effect the change, you need to run the Glacier Bay Configurator program, and here's how to do it:

Click Start, then All Programs
Look for FS Addons" and click on it
Click on Glacier Bay
Click on Glacier Bay v2 Configurator
Once it opens, check the box next to Lakes and Rivers "frozen" (ice colored, landable surface) as shown in the screenshot below.
Click on Apply Settings and Exit and you're all set.

See you online,
-Bob-

Yep, Mine were not frozen. I had to dig through the files to find out how to freeze them once more. None of my landings were any good and the last one showed all of you sitting on the water, so I tried a landing on the shore which was not a good thing. But enjoyed the flying anyway.
