M4A1 interior pictures form Ft Hood......
The AFV ASSOCIATION was formed in 1964 to support the thoughts and research of all those interested in Armored Fighting Vehicles and related topics, such as AFV drawings. The emphasis has always been on sharing information and communicating with other members of similar interests; e.g. German armor, Japanese AFVs, or whatever.

Post subject: M4A1 interior pictures form Ft Hood......

I was able to get into this M4A1 but it was in bad shape. The floor plates were rusted so bad that they nearly collapsed when I stepped on them, had to be very careful. This was a tetus shot waiting to happen! The data plate was wasted and I squeezed in their as best as possible with out hurting myself. Very tight quarters, even more so with rusty sharpe edges every where. There was some sort of communications box?, with the date of 5-44 on it, the only date I could find anywhere.
