CCB_004
Freight and Passenger Run
Event begins immediately following the Sunday Flight.

First of all, let’s cover the required files list for this flight. These files are mandatory – you must have them installed on your system.
• The aircraft will be the Brian Gladden Beech Volpar available in the CC Downloads section. Be sure to transfer the gauges from the fs9\aircraft\Volpar\gauges folder to your fs9\gauges folder.
• The scenery is the awesome Glacier Bay package available on Flightsim.com and Avsim. The file names to search for are: glbayv2a.zip and glbayv2b.zip. These are large downloads – 56 megs and 85 megs respectively, but ‘you get what you pay for’ in terms of file size. This package covers a large area in the northern panhandle of Alaska and includes accurate mesh, shorelines, landclass, airports and a whole lot of beautiful eye candy.

Now, on to the particulars for this adventure.
The CCB_004.zip file contains the following:
• CCB_004 Briefing This briefing document.
• CCB_004 Briefing_files folder Contains images for this document.
• CCB_004.fsn FSNav flight plan. Move or copy this file to your fs9\modules\FSNavigator\plan folder.
• CCB_004 VFR Skagway to Juneau.PLN FS9 GPS flight plan. Move or copy this file to your My Documents\Flight Simulator Files folder.
• CCB_004-Sectional.jpg A partial sectional chart roughly describing our route.

The Adventure
We have a reasonably easy flight today. We’re going to depart Skagway with passengers, mail and freight and deliver them to two Canadian airfields, one in the Yukon Territory and one in British Columbia. The weather is going to be nice for sight seeing with scattered fair weather cumulus and 20 mile visibility. There will be a fairly stiff breeze, though. The total time for this adventure is about 2 hours.

Hope to see you there,
-Bob-

Well, this will be my maiden bush flight with you guys, and couldn't be more excited about it! Been drooling over the flights in this forum from the commencement of your journeys! Wife is taking the kids to a baby shower so the house and sim rig is all mine! Aside from painting my boat, nothing better to do than fly around Alaska! And I hear they have some mighty fine mico-brews to boot!

We tested the run yesterday and it's very scenic!

Still kicking myself for not getting any pix!

Am I missing anything in being able to download the file? It opens a new window with a "0" on the screen and nothing further?

Sorry I dropped off the face of the earth gents, system crashed and had some issues re-connecting. Think I definately need a video card - been having a lot of issues - even with sliders dialed way back (which takes away from the allure of it all!) Will get it figured out and hopefully next week!

Thanks to Fled for taking time to hook me up with the file - greatly appreciated!

With regard to the volpar gauges...

Do you transfer the entire gauges folder or the contents please?
