The Adventure
You’re supervising the loading of your Dash 7 with heavy cargo on the ramp at Yakutat, when you’re called to the office. It’s a representative of the U.S. Government, and he informs us that our assistance is urgently needed. A village just east of Atlin, B.C. is in trouble, and we’ve got to get there to evacuate the residents as soon as we can. We’re not given any details of the emergency, but we are directed first to the science station at RAWL to pick up some geologists, and then to Juneau to pick up emergency medical personnel. We’re to proceed at all possible speed to the village of Palartok to evacuate the residents once the EMT’s are on board.

See you there,
-Bob- Smile
