Panzer Tracts #18 on the Panzer 38t looks good. It deals with the tank and not other variants (AA, AT, etc). Those are dealt with in books on that type. I think they cover the 35t in Panzer Tracts #19 ...

I don't remember if this was mentioned before but an M114 makes a brief appearance in the movie "Back to the Future II".

I don't think those are mounting plates. I believe those are extra armor to protect crew who are standing in their hatches. Some of the armor has bulletproof windows in them.

As for the new box arm ...
