The AFV ASSOCIATION was formed in 1964 to support the thoughts and research of all those interested in Armored Fighting Vehicles and related topics, such as AFV drawings. The emphasis has always been on sharing information and communicating with other members of similar interests; e.g. German armor, Japanese AFVs, or whatever.

This one was very popular soon after the first Gulf War (even among scale modelers). Now it's in the reserve collection. Looking forward for a proper id: Massimo

Is this a T-54 (See ventilator on turret) which is rebuilt to T-55 when in Poland and then delivered to Iraq or a normal T-54 which is disposed to Iraq after active duty in Poland? regards
