Question for Dontos
The AFV ASSOCIATION was formed in 1964 to support the thoughts and research of all those interested in Armored Fighting Vehicles and related topics, such as AFV drawings. Hey Dontos, A while back on the old forum you posted some pictures of a hard target M551 at Ft McCoy, Do you remember where it was or what range it was on???? I will be up that ways pretty soon. Joe D

I could get you the Grid....hahaha Its South of CP 9 on the Vehicle convoy lane on South post.... The sandy area is known as the vehicle recovery area. I got those photos somewhere around here...oh...found them Here's another place to spend some time.... Jeff The sandy area that has a couple of stripped out ITV's, M114s, and an M551 is not in an impact area. The vehicles show no signs of being hit by any live fire. Russ, the photo angle was purely a coincidence. I took it as I walked into the static display area, from the parking lot. _________________ "Gonna hold my breath until Armor returns home..."
