Post subject: May 15th's Flight

Ok guys this week you will start at MDLR and you will have to look for the drops this time. Sitting on the runway if you fly to the left there is an Island and along the far coast in the middle there is a boat dock with a small boat in one bay.

1. You need to leave MDLR and park a small plane with floats at the boat dock and drop off 2 passengers and some groceries 550 lbs total (We have also agreed to leave the plane there so you will need to have someone pick you up and take you back to the airport.)

2. There is a Nuclear power plant at the far end of the Island and you need to deliver 8 crates 400 lbs each to the power plant. (Helicopter only)

3. Then the last thing on the list is the Cargo Ship just off shore from the power plant. There are some goods 1500 lbs total that need to be dilvered to the ship from the runway.

Three things in this scenery package that you should see are :

1: Small Boat Dock and Boat
1: Nuclear Power Plant
1: Cargo Ship just off shore from the Power Plant.

You will need to download this small
MDLR_Scenery package.

OKay man...flight 1 part 1 is done....."small plane with floats", Maule Amphibian, delivered and parked at the dock, two pax and goceries delivered, 550lbs worth.

I'm sittin' on the beach until someone picks me up I guess...no rush, I heard there was a girl's sorority beach volleyball tournament happenin' later today...although there IS a FW190 callin' my name back at the pigsty!

(oh, and sorry guys but whoever picks me up needs to know I weigh 235lbs....hey muscle weighs more than fat, man! Smile

Here's the details:

Payload settings...550 pounds there, lotta groceries.....

Great job guys, hope using the Maule was okay, didn't have a Com-C Bush Flights paint job for it, if there is one available sperately that would be great - already had the plane and didn't want to download this big ol' package again!

Oh by the way- rudder trim is CTRL-Numpad 0 and CTRL-Numpad ENTER...aileron trim is CTRL-Numpad 4 and 6...she flies left-wing heavy constantly, gotta trim her out in those axis' for sure!

Anyways, I'm just sittin' on the dock of the bay, watchin' the tide roll away, till someone comes and gets me.... all 235 lbs of swineful stank and love, remember!

Alrighty... not a very good day for flying! Thunderstorms, moderate winds, and mod-heavy turbulance. Add to that the fact that I'm over limits on weight and I had only a basic idea of where I was going, it sure made for an interesting flight Mr. Green

Here we go:

1500 lbs of various supplies disperessed throughout the plane.

Nice work XcalibeR! Pics showed up after a while, for me at least.

Maybe, try a free photobucket account ( www.photobucket.com )...free registration, no strings, no emails no nuthin. Just limited space for free, but still it holds TONS of images and you can recycle the old ones out. Performs better than the yahoo server you were using probably, and automatically gives you the correct {img} tags to use in your posts..check it out bro!

That's alright. I figured out what was wrong. I'm using Geocities, I got about 4 different name/site things a few years back (when I still played CFS1). Nowadays, I just use them for backup/pic hosting. works well enough for me

Well I took the helo leg of this trip. I had a Seaking MK84 that I got a decent price on from a Military Auction. The first trip I loaded a conservative 800lbs of cargo.

LOL I was wondering the same thing, pretty strange helo there, that weighs more empty than it's max gross weight
rating, how can it leave the ground even with no fuel?!

Geez Louise, Looks like this is all done now if I read everything right.....

1) You need to leave MDLR and park a small plane with floats at the boat dock and drop off
2 passengers and some groceries 550 lbs total (We have also agreed to leave the plane there so
you will need to have someone pick you up and take you back to the airport.)
(DONE)

2. There is a Nuclear power plant at the far end of the Island and you need to deliver 8 crates 400 lbs
each to the power plant. (Helicopter only)
(DONE- Vlad 800lbs Flight1, Vlad 2400Lbs Flight2)

3. Then the last thing on the list is the Cargo Ship just off shore from the power plant. There are some
goods 1500 lbs total that need to be dilvered to the ship from the runway.
(DONE - XcalibeR)

Was hoping to get that Com-Central Bush FLights Bell 205 in the air and fly another leg...any chance that they need some
new plutonium or anything out there at that nuke plant? Smile

I searched CC for a helo, but couldn't locate it in the downloads section.

I think that with a hurrican threatening the area, maybe we should take them some fresh water and non perisable food out there.

Fallout is a nuthin' deal!! When I was in my early 20's I got a summer job working at the San Onofre Nuke plant, it was great
work, I was a "stoker", ...the guy who shovels the plutonium into the reactor... after work you could go night surfin' and
the waves had this great self-illuminatin' glow.....
