New pics at KCAMPS M48A3 Mod B
The AFV ASSOCIATION was formed in 1964 to support the thoughts and research of all those interested in Armored Fighting Vehicles and related topics, such as AFV drawings. The emphasis has always been on sharing information and communicating with other members of similar interests; e.g. German armor, Japanese AFVs, or whatever.

I can verify that there WAS an M4A3E2 at Ft. Riley on the green outside the Cavalry Museum building, circa 1975. I climbed on it and took photos. Unfortunately those photos went to Jim Loop when I sold off a bunch of my armor stuff in the early 80s. I was always curious about where it went, but I think that it is the same one that is NOW in the LST building. When I started getting back into armor research and went to Riley in the 1990s the "Jumbo" was nowhere to be seen. I haven't been to Riley since the GWOT started but it looks like another visit might be in order.

- Dontos - tanker2010 ... I never saw a Jumbo. The only Jumbo I've seen stateside was at Ft. Carson. Heres the Jumbo that is in the LST building on Ft Knox. I learned today that the Jumbo that is in the LST building, was previously at Ft Carson. Don
