M1 Abrams prints
The AFV ASSOCIATION was formed in 1964 to support the thoughts and research of all those interested in Armored Fighting Vehicles and related topics, such as AFV drawings. The emphasis has always been on sharing information and communicating with other members of similar interests; e.g. German armor, Japanese AFVs, or whatever.

Post subject: M1 Abrams prints

The Michigan Military Technical & Historical Society has M1 prints!

This limited edition pastel was done by artist Karen Randall who has worked as the art director for Armor magazine and also as visual information specialist for the Ft Knox Armor School.
These prints were originally done in 1983 and only 4000 were printed (1000 numbered 3000 un-numbered) The Artist held back 100 of the un-numbered prints and has kept them until now. She has made them available to MTHS to help us raise money for our building fund.

The print is @ 24” x 20” and comes with a certificate of authenticity.

MTHS is selling these prints for $20 plus Prints will be mailed rolled in a shipping tube. If you are in the Detroit area, local pick up is available. There will be a $5 handling charge to cover the cost of the tube, plus actual shipping worldwide.

Karen has made small quantities of some other prints available to us that we will be offering at a later date.

Hey guys, I was going through the prints this morning and found that some of these were from the signed and numbered batch, these will be first come, first serve. Your chance to own a work signed by former Armor magazine cover artist....

Hey guys, changed up the shipping info a bit as it was confusing.

Had a chat with a fellow tread head on this, these prints were made in 1983, since the M1 was fielded 81-82, this is probably one of the first commissioned art works to dipict the tank, would also explain the MERDEC scheme on the tank.....

Kind of a neat item if your an Abrams geek like I am, $20 each for the signed and numbered ones, $15 each for the un-signed ones. Add $5 for tube cost + actual shipping.
