Unfortunately I have to add to the list of people that won't be there tomorrow. I am involved as a competator in the Joint Ops Flight Schools Top Bomb competition. Today was the preliminary competition. The top 5 go on to the finals. Unfortunately, there were only 4 competators this time, and all of us go on to the finals tomorrow. I'm currently in 3rd place, but during the finals, the scoring is greater, and everything can change. There is only a range of 70 points between 1st and 4th, equivelant to 6 1/2 bomb hits. Last year I tied for 3rd out of a list of 8 that started, and the final scores were within 50 points. So anything can happen. The last competition, 6 months ago the guy who was running last, won the competition. He had a bad flight in one of the events, and wound up with the highest score for that particular event. He banged up his landing gear and couldn't retract them. It kept his speed low and his hits were almost perfect. His speed also gave him score, and it was lower than the others, but the bombs on target made the difference.

You're most welcome, Airboss, I'm happy you enjoyed it and I hope we'll meet again on the next flights Smile
Anyway, I was impressed by the difference in size between the DC-6 and the Beech! Surprised

XcalibeR, I could swear as well I took that position first, but I observed that the magic "Y" key brings some latency with itself, so you might be right Wink
