#1: May 29th Sunday flight Author: Uhu_Rodion, Location: L'Aquila, ItalyPosted: Thu May 26, 2005 12:04 am ---- What do you expect at this point? Bahamas? Naaaa, Cuba: going to pull Fidel's beard
We'll make a comprehensive tour of this big island; there are many beautiful holiday resorts to explore, and their living content... Well, you might argue our first destination is not exactly like that, but I thought, why not? After all, we're not going to land at the military airbase
Quite relaxing flight plan

#3: Re: May 29th Sunday flight Author: Uhu_Deenee, Posted: Thu May 26, 2005 3:53 am ---- Watch out for those unsavory characters in orange suits on the approach!
You are taking us from one extreme to the other Marco - one week girls in bikini's, the next we have bearded blokes in boiler-suits
#4: Re: May 29th Sunday flight Author: Uhu_Rodion, Location: L'Aquila, ItalyPosted: Thu May 26, 2005 5:36 am ---- Well, always trying to bring you to new experiences, Phil
Anyway, don't underestimate the charming power of Cuban ladies: I guess they're not bearded

#7: Re: May 29th Sunday flight Author: Hideout, Posted: Fri May 27, 2005 4:28 am ---- fellas. Im a new guy to the flying online with an organized group lol. I was in CFS3 for a while. Some of the JG-300 will recognize me. (SABER-JP) But I was curious what I need to join you? I know I need the plane. What site do I get that from. And if I can, could someone tell me whos server I join to fly with you guys? Thanks, and I hope to see you guys on soon. Happy memorial day:)
#8: Re: May 29th Sunday flight Author: Uhu_Deenee, Posted: Fri May 27, 2005 4:56 am ---- Heh Hideout!
It will be great if you can join - the more the merrier! The plane for download is here on this site on the 'downloads page'. Fledermaus has put together a great EZ install package, so all you do is press go, and the DC-6 is in your hanger!
Then download Marco's flightplan above - it needs to go in the flightplan folder of 'my documents' - I assume that you are using FS9, or you wouldn't be keen to join us eh!?
Fled will leave you the IP addrsses and stuff - but we fly at 7pm my time here in the UK - so whatever it is for you, just join!
Fled also runs an ATC programme, so he can guide us into the airports - very cool
Look forward to seeing you Sunday - by the way, the DC-6 is a real treat!

You are more than welcome to join in with the fun on sunday, just for info, some basics you'll need to have installed :
The Com-Central Airlines DC-6B wich is available at the download section
A connection to the net
A large dose of humor
and you're set
We all connect to the Com-Central Sunday's Circus Server available at 184.108.40.206 pw = bush
try it out before sunday to connect to the server, so if there are any questions you can ask 'm here and we can help you set it up
As Uhu_Deenee mentioned we start at 19:00 uk Time, don't know in wich part of the globe you are hiding out Hideout !!
Anyway, in case of, if there are still questions open, just ask 'm..........we all started out somewhere, so no problem.

Nothing to add: the two Uhu's above said it all, apart maybe you're better to to load fresh film into your camera - a tele-lens is advisable to catch the girls on the beach
#11: Re: May 29th Sunday flight Author: Hideout, Posted: Fri May 27, 2005 6:55 am ---- 1900 GMT+1? I am GMT-6, so 7 hours behind you is 1200 correct? I am central time in good ole Kansas. Flat land, I mean heart land of America lol. I will test out the Plane, server etc. Make sure everything is set for Sunday. See you fellas there.
#12: Re: May 29th Sunday flight Author: Kitform, Location: Cleveland. UK.Posted: Fri May 27, 2005 7:17 am ---- The Sunday flight normally takes off at 19:00hrs UK local time...
Since the UK is now in daylight saving time BST (GMT+1) The Sunday flight takes off at GMT+1
Fled is currently GMT+2 (I think)
If in your part of the world you have altered your clocks forward 1 hour for daylight saving then adjust the time by the normal time difference. If you don't alter your clocks for daylight saving then subtract a further hour from the normal time difference...
The guys and gals try to assemble on TeamSpeak/CC server about half an hour before the flight...But in reality it's a mad scramble about 5 minutes to take off time to get set up and join
