Neil, Found a photo of the two M110A2's. I think Camp Roberts is on US 101 and not I-5.

Neil

I have about 26 pictures of some of Camp Roberts stuff.
The pictures I have are;
M2 or early M3 Stuart Hulks (range targets)
Museums Halftrack M3
Museums M8
Some of the static tanks outside museum annex.

Dont have pictures handy for the M4 Shermans
Dont have pictures handy of the LVT

The M5 Stuart hulks have been removed, unconfirmed rumor is they are being used by the ARMY Engineers as vehicles for recovering vehicles practice.

How big of a jpg file can I send you,,, per email ????

Just a quick note about the Camp Roberts tank hulks;

There is nothing left to scavage from them and possible UXB's are under what left.

Camp Roberts is also a active California National Guard & ARMY training camp.

Permission to enter and go anywhere else except to the museums, requires written permissions. (PITA)

Looks like a single turret. M2A4? Confused

I didn't see the T-34 there last June but it may have been out with its group. Like some of the other stuff, I'll dig through some of my old pics for it along with the M3 and M8. Give me another week or so.

The wreck looks to be an M3, judging by the turret and the vision slot in the plate beside the BOG. (Tanks are facing right.)

Kurt, isnt that a specific, rare type of Stuart turret?

The M3 wreck turret is the welded octagonal type. There were about 1600 of these made, which makes the second most common. It might be rare among survivors because most of them are M3A1s.
