After seeing Lesley’s post on this place, we took a trip down to document. Museum bldg itself was closed, but outside statics were accessible.
The engine deck SN area had lots of paint and what look like welds on it. I could vaguely make out 266 or 265.
Front tow lugs were like none I’ve ever seen on an M60.
M110
SN 342? (?= maybe 7)
M901 SN C2865

05 is production month (may)
GT is the factory indication. GT I have never seen before on pictures
Maybe our Russian colleagues know more about this number?
Regards,
Lesley

Not sure what you mean by the tow lugs, they look pretty standard to me.

When I saw them on this tank, they just looked funny. I realize now that I never really looked at the tow lugs - except to find the SN.
Always good to make a fool of oneself in a public forum!!
Isn't the first time for me and won't be the last!!
Cheers!
