Hi,

That may depend on how you define 'service'. That paint job hasn't been to the field, and there's not much wear or other indications of recent use. On the other hand, it clearly runs (not much rust on the track, among other things). So, if you mean "parade and display service", then yes. If you mean "blowing stuff up and wrecking things", then probably not.

Yep. It's definitely not standard practice to paint the canvas mantlet cover if it's expected to do any moving. I hate when it's done even for display...looks tacky.

...and those road wheels haven't turned a lick since it was last in for a makeover.
