Is it possible that the 20mm gun on this Lingle is the last surviving full gun and mount for the M114?

I know there are a couple (well, at least one...) Lingles around with the mount, but don't recall any that have the full gun and complete mount.

Sorry Chuck, but that vehicle does not have a full gun. That barrel is phony as a three dollar bill. The cooling jacket looks like a tube where a real M139 barrel would have cooling fins. The flash suppressor looks like it came off a 50 cal barrel for a M85 MG.

For what ever good it might do, the M114A0 here at Ft. Bliss does have the gun mount for it's missing XM-27 turret inside.

I am done uploading pictures of indoor vehicles. Soon I'll upload shots taken outside. So far there are already 400 pictures:

There are a few ex-Iraqui vehicles inside the Warsaw Pact Hall. The France register reports this as Type 69 II:

Hi Folks!

I noticed that both of the "Dannemarie" M47 never had the rain gutters welded to the turret sides like most other M47s,

perhaps an little side-step, however I have a question

Which of the shown US M-series of tanks, so the M26 / M41 / M47 / M48 has actualy been used in the French army ??

I only could find something at wikipedia about the M47 being used, because the article was about it's successor the AMX-30
And because of the AMX-30, I think the M60 was never used in the French army

Good question Michel... I know for sure the M24 was heavily used by the French Army, they never had M48 or M60, but I am not sure about M26. The M41 wouldn't make that much sense with all those AMX-13s.
