I wonder if P-O knows something more, maybe they are restoring/repainting the gun


the 8.8cm gun is completely dismounted and is being cosmetically restored.
I had a look for some pics that I took in 2009 and/or 2010 but can't find them again.

BTW Is there an artillery museum in France? Kind of the Saumur equivalent, but for artillery?

and then click on France or USA or Allemagne etc.. you will see the different artillery pieces on display at the museum.
