Fantastic pictures! Such a shame the Sturmtiger isn't there. Anyone know why it wasn't allowed to travel?


I've hear many "rumours". The most realistic one is that the Sturmtiger doesn't "belong" to Panzermuseum, it's on long term loan from the USA, so they don't have the freedom to move it around (even more so after what happened to APG Tiger)

According to "Preserved Tanks", it came to Munster via the WTS at Koblenz. They appear to own it.

Yes, it came from WTS, but WTS got it from APG

So Bovington owns two Centaur Dozer, the one on display indoor and this "Joan". I am not sure if this is properly reflected inside the registry.

The one at Tankfest came from the Isle of Wight. I saw it delivered on a lorry. I think it used to be at the Military Museum on the island (now sadly closed) and was restored and was (is?) owned by David Arnold.
