Just curious if our erstwhile namesake publication has effectively folded...

Neil,
Does George Bradford still publish it? I remember when I stopped getting it years ago someone else was going to take over. I'm curious about that too!

Does anyone have or can find the last issue? I'd be interested in what if anything it might have said...

Bruce, did it say anything about an editorial transition, future of the newsletter, etc?

No Neil- no editorial comment whatsoever.
It was one of the best recent issues, too, in my eyes. Excellent article on the logistics of transporting an Armoured Division by rail; a report from an Engineer camouflage Battalion in ETO in 1944( details on affixing affixing Somerfield matting to tanks, painting, etc. including diagrams); 3 pages on the Malta Tanks of WWII; memoirs of a US FT 17 commander in 1918; and regular kit and book reviews.

George has mentioned in past difficulty finding material on a regular basis but not like him to make changes without some kind of vnotification. The last interruption in publication was due to health problems about 20 years ago.

I'll try to contact him offline.

My subscription renewal cheque in November was cashed and I also received the Sept-Dec 2010 issue. No Jan-Apr 2011 issue yet.
