During the weekend of 13-14AUG2011, the MVTF was honored to participate in the annual "Spirit of '45" events that took place in San Jose's History Park. For this event, we brought Jacques' very first armored vehicle, the M3A1 Scout Car. This was the first time it had been out of the museum in many, many years. Our volunteer mechanics did a helluva job getting it running with very little time to work on it. Some photos are below:

The gentleman looking directly at the camera in the above photo is WW II 4th Armored Div. 37th Tk Bn vet Tom Sator. He is also a volunteer at the MVTF.
