BTW My understanding is some sofskin belong to private collectors and are on loan to the Museum. Hope some Czech based friend may give more details

#141: Re: Three Amigos in Lesany Author: Adamicz, Location: Prague, Czech RepublicPosted: Mon Mar 18, 2013 8:03 pm ---- I know only about the Klöckner-Deutz posted earlier in this thread. But wouldn't be surprised if some of the Tatras and Skodas belongs to museums of these car brands.
#142: Re: Three Amigos in Lesany Author: Massimo_Foti, Location: Lugano, SwitzerlandPosted: Tue Mar 19, 2013 11:42 am ---- I remember I saw a Tempo 1200 in Lesany during my visit in late '90. Among other things I was told that one belongs to a private collector and that's why it's not on display anymore.

#143: Re: Three Amigos in Lesany Author: Massimo_Foti, Location: Lugano, SwitzerlandPosted: Wed Mar 20, 2013 10:08 am ---- I am done with pictures of vehicles, the Museum also has plenty of cool artillery pieces. Should we go on and post them here or open a new thread on the Artillery forum?
I remember Doug was suggesting we could mix artillery too, since, after all, the topic here is Lesany, we are discussing the collection as a whole, not the single artifact. But I would like to be sure it's okay to go this way.

I know, that's a good point too

#147: Re: Three Amigos in Lesany Author: Massimo_Foti, Location: Lugano, SwitzerlandPosted: Fri Jun 21, 2013 4:20 am ---- I took the time to post-process a selection of the artillery subjects in Lesany, among them there were a few interesting AFVs as well.
