Some notes on the D-442 FUG
- In the Czechoslovak Army served under the name: Obrneny transporter vz.65 (OT-65),
- No. 28/92 can be decoded as the 28th piece taken to the museum warehouse in 1992,
- For some unknown reason, the OT-65 was registered under two warehouse numbers: XX-533 and XX-630.

#85: Re: Three Amigos in Lesany Author: Massimo_Foti, Location: Lugano, SwitzerlandPosted: Tue Nov 06, 2012 9:09 pm ---- Sure! You shot some good pictures too.
There are a couple of videos of this little popgun firing on Youtube (one is a blank demonstration charge with no recoil), the one below seems to be the real deal (zip on out to 3:00 to not waste time with the ever-changing exposure of the camera and a bunch of nothing happening). I love the audible alarms featured in the videos, which sound like they were modeled on an enraged VW Beetle.
Apparently, it was nuclear capable.
Especially interesting is the amount of what I gather are bits of the propellant charge bags or whatever is used that fall around the area after firing. Some looking quite hazardous.

Very little spaces and those little spot lights triggered plenty of flares on my wide-angle lens
